About The Car and Van Place

We are proud to be a family business. Rob is the owner of The Car and Van Place and had spent many years working for large, limited companies and PLC’s in the motor trade, an industry he fell in love with. Rob still has many connections in the trade and is often asked to return but he decided to set up this smaller family run operation to spend more time with customers (and his family).
Coronavirus Policy
During the difficult period of Covid we adjusted our business operating policies to help our customers stay mobile whilst adhering to the government's advice for as long as these special measures were in place. Now that this period has passed business has returned to some sense of normality but we have decided to continue with the appointment only basis along with other aspects of change. We feel this allows us to spend more time with our customers and gives us the opportunity to deliver a better experience.
  • We implemented the following actions during the pandemic to make it easier and safer for you to purchase a vehicle during this time. We have decided to continue with these actions as we feel it offers good value and makes us unique in the market place: If you see a car you like on our website, contact us and we will be able to provide a more in depth video of the car and provide any additional information you may require.
  • All vehicles are available with FREE NATIONWIDE DELIVERY to the UK mainland. Contact us now to book your delivery. If you live on one of the many islands of the UK, we will get the car to the nearest port and you can meet us there.
  • All vehicles delivered will be valeted and prepared to a retail standard before hand. Vehicles will be delivered via a car transporter or delivered on a trailer to you where ever possible .
  • If you are a customer looking to obtain car finance, we can send the documents via email and you can sign the documents remotely. Once this is done, simply send us a picture of your driving licence and we will do the rest.
